Scope
This privacy policy applies to this website (incors.com) and to our product websites iconexperience.com, hyvector.com, and flattype.com. The general sections below apply to all of these websites; processing that only takes place on a specific website is described in its own section.
Server Log Files
When you visit our websites, our hosting provider automatically records technical information transmitted by your browser (IP address, date and time of access, requested page, browser type, and operating system) in server log files. This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR to ensure the secure and stable operation of the websites. It is not merged with other data sources and is deleted after a short retention period.
Cookies and Analytics
Our websites do not use analytics or tracking services. Where cookies are used at all, they are strictly necessary for technical operation (for example, to process a purchase on iconexperience.com) and are therefore exempt from consent requirements (§ 25 (2) TDDDG).
Purchases on iconexperience.com
When you purchase a licence on iconexperience.com, we process the data you provide with your order (such as your name, company, billing address, email address, and details of the purchased licences) to fulfil the contract (Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR). We store this data solely for accounting purposes and to provide customer support, and retain it no longer than the statutory retention periods under German commercial and tax law require (Art. 6 (1)(c) GDPR). Purchase data is not used for marketing and is not shared with third parties unless this is necessary to process your order or we are legally obliged to do so.
Fonts in the Hyvector Editor
The Hyvector editor lets you use fonts from the Google Fonts catalogue as design fonts in your vector drawings. When you browse or select fonts in the editor, font files and font metadata (such as the scripts a font supports) are loaded from Google servers, which means your IP address is transmitted to Google LLC, USA (Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR — this transfer happens only as part of the font feature you actively use, and the full catalogue cannot reasonably be self-hosted). Google is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; Google’s privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy. No other usage data is shared with Google. Your drawings themselves are processed locally in your browser and are not uploaded to our servers.
Contact by Email
If you contact us by email, the data you provide (your email address and the content of your message) is stored for the purpose of handling your inquiry (Art. 6 (1)(b) and (f) GDPR). This data is not shared with third parties.
